This policy explains how Auctor collects, uses and protects information through this website. Auctor does not use advertising pixels, behavioural profiling, third-party marketing analytics, cross-site tracking or personalised advertising on this website.

Information collected

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. It does collect personal information where a visitor chooses to provide it, specifically through the private briefing contact form. The contact form may collect:

• name
• organisation
• work email address
• enquiry category ("area of concern")
• message content
• technical information automatically processed by the hosting provider where applicable (for example, basic request metadata used for spam and security filtering)

The Control Pulse diagnostic on the homepage does not collect information under this policy — its answers are processed only in your browser, are never transmitted to Auctor or any third party, and are not stored, logged or added to local storage by this website.

Purpose

Information submitted through the contact form is collected to:

• assess the enquiry
• respond to the person who submitted it
• arrange a private briefing
• manage the resulting business relationship
• maintain appropriate business and security records
• protect the website against misuse or spam

Use and disclosure

Information collected through this website is used only for legitimate Auctor business purposes. Personal information is not sold. It is not used for unrelated advertising. Service providers may process information where necessary to operate the website, contact form and associated email notifications, as described below. Information may otherwise be disclosed where required by law.

Netlify processing

This website is hosted through Netlify. Netlify processes contact-form submissions and supporting technical data on Auctor's behalf in order to deliver form submissions and operate the website. Where email notifications are enabled, Auctor's email service provider may also process the submitted information to deliver that notification. Form submissions may be stored in the Netlify project dashboard. Netlify's infrastructure may process or store information outside Australia. Data is not guaranteed to remain exclusively within Australia as a result.

Retention

Unsuccessful, spam or inactive enquiries are deleted when no longer reasonably required. Active business correspondence may be retained for legal, security, governance or recordkeeping purposes. Form submissions are reviewed and periodically deleted where no longer needed. Auctor does not currently commit to a fixed retention period beyond the above; this policy will be updated if a formal retention schedule is adopted.

Security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect information submitted through this website. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and no such guarantee is made.

Access, correction and deletion

You may request access to personal information Auctor holds about you, request correction of that information, or ask for it to be deleted where appropriate. You may also raise any privacy concern directly. To do any of this, contact contact@auctorbystephan.com.

Cookies

This website currently uses only essential hosting and security functionality provided by Netlify. It does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies or embedded marketing tools, and does not currently display a cookie-consent banner as a result. If that changes — for example, if analytics or advertising technology is added — this policy and the website will be updated accordingly.

Updates

This policy will be reviewed periodically and updated if the website's data practices change, including if a contact form backend, analytics service or other data-processing tool is added or changed.
